It’s that star-spangled time of year again at Gem City Pin-Up, where red lipstick meets red, white, and blue! 🎇 As the 4th of July draws near, our studio is buzzing with patriotic pride, vintage glam, and the spirit of the strong American women who paved the way—both on the battlefield and in front of the camera.
✨ Strike a Pose—Respectfully
Before we dive into the glitz and glam of patriotic sets, let’s talk about something close to our hearts: respecting the flag and those who’ve served. At Gem City Pin-Up, we love a bold and cheeky image—but we also know that patriotism isn’t just a look. It’s a legacy. When using the American flag in your photos or wardrobe, it's important to remember the U.S. Flag Code—a set of guidelines designed to ensure the flag is treated with dignity.

The flag should never touch the ground or be worn as actual clothing.
It shouldn't be draped, sat on, or used as a towel.
Always pose with pride and respect when incorporating Old Glory into your images.
We work hard to design sets and guide poses that celebrate the spirit of freedom without crossing the line. Because honoring our heroes should never go out of style.
