Hold onto your victory rolls— because Gem City Pin Up just rolled back from Piece N Grease and we are still buzzing like a hopped-up hot rod on nitro.
Hosted in the always-charming Waynesville, OH,
on May 17th, 2025, was an epic mash-up of chrome, curls, and car culture that we live for. This was the second year for the car show (which is already flexing like a seasoned pro), and the first-ever pinup contest — and you know we weren’t about to miss that.
Let’s talk pinup contest. Six fabulous ladies stepped up in full vintage glory, and they did not disappoint. From sass to class and everything in between, these gals brought their A-game, and this seasoned pinup gal (that’s me 👋) may or may not have shed a few winged-liner tears watching them strut their stuff. It makes my old-school heart skip a beat to see new generations keeping the pinup spirit alive and sparkling.
A huge shoutout to the stunning and sassy Dolly Jax and the crew at Saw Kustomz for hosting the contest (seriously, go check out their YouTube channel if you love pinups, grease, and good vibes — you’ll be hooked). This was year one for the pinup contest and baby, it’s got legs. We hope this becomes a forever thing.
Now for the rides. This wasn’t just your average lineup of polished classics — no, Piece N Grease delivered a wild blend of classic beauties, gritty rat rods, and modern machines that still knew how to party. There was enough horsepower and high-gloss to keep our camera shutters snapping all day long.
We absolutely love seeing events like this pop up locally — good people, killer style, and a whole lotta love for all things vintage. It's already locked on our radar for 2026. (And yes, we’re already planning bigger coverage, more glam, and probably a little more sunscreen. Lesson learned.)
