If you weren’t in Batavia, Ohio on July 19th for the Freaki Tiki Car Show hosted by the Rollin Jokers Car Club, well… let’s just say your FOMO should be kicking in right about now.
Let’s set the scene: the weather forecast was giving full-on doomsday vibes—rain, storms, possibly a plague of toads. But the Rollin Jokers said, “Rain or shine, baby,” because when you're raising money for The Cure Starts Now, a little water (or 1,000% humidity) isn't going to stop the party. And plot twist—Mother Nature must be a car girl, because she held back the rain and just cranked the humidity dial all the way up to “sweaty pit stain simulator.”
Despite the moist air situation, Sycamore Park was jam-packed with some of the most gorgeous rides you could imagine—from jaw-dropping customs to drool-worthy classics to modern marvels .
But listen, as stunning as the cars were, the real show-stoppers were the people. Car lovers, pinup queens, families, photographers, and that one guy who photo bombed every photo (you know who you are)—everyone came out with smiles, sweatbands, and serious support for a cause that truly matters.
And this year, the show had even deeper meaning. The 2025 Freaki Tiki was held in honor of Steve Rennick, a longtime member of the Rollin Jokers Car Club. Steve wasn’t just a part of the club—he was part of its heart. Kind, generous, and always the first to lend a helping hand (or a wrench), Steve was the kind of guy who made everyone feel like family. His spirit rolled right alongside every ride at Sycamore Park that day, and you could feel his presence in every smile, engine rev, and heartfelt hug.
The Rollin Jokers didn’t just bring the heat—they handed out some serious bling. Top awards were given to the most show-stopping cars, and the specialty trophies? Handcrafted beauties that looked like they could win a trophy themselves.
And then there was the Pinup Contest, organized and run by the always-sizzling Scarlette Luv, Cincinnati’s own red-lipped ray of sunshine. The ladies turned up the glam and turned heads faster than a burnout on blacktop. The contest crowned two Lil Misses and three Lucky Pinups, each radiating vintage charm and heart. From swing skirts to sass, every contestant brought their A-game—and you bet your bobby socks I was behind the lens screaming, “YASSS QUEEN” between shutter clicks.

The ultimate crown of the day went to the radiant Lindy Lamor, who was crowned Miss Freaki Tiki 2025.

Just when we thought the good vibes had peaked, a surprise proposal happened right on site! And yes, she said YES. Congrats to the beautiful couple!

So, if you missed Freaki Tiki 2025, here’s your official warning: mark those calendars for next year. You will sweat, you will smile, and you might cry (in the best way). Because this show isn’t just about cars and crowns—it’s about community, kindness, and cruising for a cause.
Here’s to chrome, kindness, and carrying on the legacy of greats like Steve Rennick.
See you in 2026, unless you melt before then.
